Pilot

The MentorStack pilot.

MentorStack is the first Sondel pilot. It is free and is never billed. As of 2026-11-02, Sondel has run no pilot on real customer traffic. This page lists what the pilot covers, what it does not, and the terms.

Price.

MentorStack
USD 0, with no end date. MentorStack is never billed.
List price
USD 299 a month with 1,000 conversations included, then USD 0.30 for each conversation after that. This is a planned price. Sondel has not tested whether customers will pay it. See pricing.
Who owns MentorStack
MentorStack is a product of Sondel's founder. This pilot is not evidence of demand from an outside customer.

What the pilot covers.

Help centre answers
Sondel answers a question from the MentorStack help centre and cites the passages it used. If the sources do not support an answer, it declines and offers a person.
Account lookups
Planned: read-only lookups of the account fields MentorStack declares, through a signed identity connection. A MentorStack connection is in test and is not live. A test result carries the label "sandbox result".
Handoff
When Sondel declines, it offers a person, and a handoff goes to the MentorStack team by email.

Limits.

Test results only
Sondel has tested the answer checks on questions that an AI wrote from the MentorStack help centre. No real visitor results exist yet. A test result is not a customer result.
Some declines are unnecessary
The tests found questions that the help centre could answer and Sondel declined. A decline is safer than a wrong answer, and it costs the visitor a handoff.
Channels
The Sondel web widget and the conversation API. The widget is not yet live on the MentorStack site. No native helpdesk connector exists yet.
Excluded data
Regulated health data and card data are excluded. There are no HIPAA agreements.
Never does
The rules on the trust page apply to the pilot. They are tested, not guaranteed.

Pilot terms.

Billing
None. The pilot runs free and is never billed.
Real questions as tests
Not live yet. Sondel keeps a real visitor question as a test case only if the visitor ticks a consent box. The consent notice is not live on the MentorStack site.
Data
The rules on data use and retention and the subprocessors page apply to the pilot.
Agreement
These terms are the pilot terms. There is no separate signed agreement, because the founder owns MentorStack.
